Yesterday our Troop celebrated the presentation of the Peak Award for Anastasia, the Australian Scout Medallion and her Green cord. Anastasia had work hard for 3 years towards this award and with the assistance of all Scouts of the Troop, the Troop Leader Damien, our GL Manos and the guidance of the DLS Daniel, through the COVID-19 restrictions achieved to follow Glika, Katerina and George. With respect to Group’s tradition a previus recipient Katerina from the venturer unit joined the night and awarded Anastasia the ASM. CONGRATULATIONS ANASTASIA

On the same night Stephania having done her leadership course and carried out successfully her leadership activity received the badge and her white cord. Also she has received the Explorer citizenship badge while working also hard towards her Explorer badge. Following her dedication and commitment to the Troop, Stephania assumed responsibilities as a Patrol Leader.

But the night and awards ware not over yet. Ash, Daniel, Anastasia and Stephania received their heritage badge and the special badge for the ANZAC DAWN SERVICE.

The night continued with games and fun and one of our Sixers, Oscar, who started linking to the Troop.

The night ended with a special moment for George, as he was invested in our Troop and started his adventurous journey while Scouts and leaders gather around him shouting the Troop chant

Stephania who was leading the night called the Scouts at parade, invited Anastasia for the reflection and called Katerina to lower the flag and George to receive it for the 1st time.
