Good day all
Today is a special day for our group and I invite you all to congratulate our Group Leader “Bear” for completing the Leader of Adults training, achieving his advance training certificate and getting his WOODBADGE
Bear (well known to the non scouting family as Manos) stepped forward and took over the group in a difficult period, worked hard for 3 years in order to gain all the knowledge needed to for his role.
Durring this period was always in front line, assisting sections, youth members and leaders in their work, managed to get a fund for our group from the Premier $250.000 and is fighting every day for the group to keep the hall in this wonderful reserve against all odds and lobby. For his hard work these 3 years Bear was recognized and awarded the “Special Service Award” from Scouts Australia.
Bear you are an inspiration and we all are happy and proud of you.
