WORLD SCOUT DAY

31 Jul 2019 by Dimitrios KARAGIANNIS

World Scout Day is Thursday
This Thursday, around the world, is World Scout Day – celebrating the first day of the first Scout camp 112 years ago at Brownsea Island.

Baden-Powell’s experimental camp certainly started something. And his educational method – learning through doing, in the outdoors, in small teams, youth-led and adult-supported – has stood the test of time.

What you can do:

share your school-work scarf photos (you, your family) in a message to the Scout Victoria Facebook page, or by email to marketing@scoutsvictoria.com.au and be part of our World Scout Day album

You can do that although my personal advise is to sent these photos to our AGL, Dimitrios

Dimitrioskaragiannis1973@gmail.com

and he will make sure that will be shared:

1. in our (not public) FB page

2. in our web site (face censored for our youth members)

3. National scarf day album

4. International album

All participants will receive the national badge. If you wish to receive the International one please advise us and you will be notified for the extra cost

Please type on the email the following:

Name, scout id number, if your wish the face of the youth member to be censored, and if you want the additional badge/s.
